Police said the occurrence occurred late Monday evening on the bustling Saru Section Road of Jamnagar city. “Riva Jadeja was driving in her auto and the constable was leaving police base camp when the two vehicles impacted. A contention resulted and the police constable assaulted her,” SP (Jamnagar) Pradip Shejul revealed to The Indian Express. The SP said Riva had managed wounds in the assault. “We are enrolling her dissension. The constable was confined not long after the occurrence,” he SAID
Later at night, police said that they were reserving the constable based on a grievance recorded by Riva.
