Plot-
Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor), a runaway criminal from a village near Allahabad, has built an empire in Al-Shifa Island in the Middle East, which was bought by his elder brother for difficult days. Sikander aka Sikku (Salman Khan) is Shamsher’s stepson who runs his illegal arms’ business. Sanjana (Daisy Shah) and Suraj (Saqib Saleem) are Shamsher’s other biological kids. There is an intra-family rivalry going on among all of them for the control of business and assets. But they don’t know ‘iss khel ka asli Sikander kaun hai and Salman portraying Sikander cannot lose.Comes many twists and turns that your mind turns into scrambled eggs that you just wish that the movie gets over but Remo D souza (The director) thought why should audience have all the fun ,he increased the run time to 160 minutes of mindless story and action.
Acting-
Salman Khan-In the previous installments,we all see that the hero has shades of grey,black and White means the hero is neither good nor bad he is mixture of both,But we all know Salman always portrays good guy, so he plays the same.He takes care of his family even though they treat him bad.The film’s centre is Salman and he carries the movie on his shoulders.He has given everything to the movie, his persona,barebody,style,dialogue delivery.The only thing he has not given is acting which he has given in his previous movies like Sultan,Bajrangi Bhaijaan.We all wished to see Saif and Salman has proved this.
Anil Kapoor-
The only good thing in this movie is Anil.He has portrayed the character very well like the previous installments.He is doing having fun,action, comedy,everything.
Others-Jacqueline is stylish,gives some good dialogues,dances well.Bobby Deol has done his part well but the part is not very long and he is trying to look over stylish which he shouldn’t have done.Saquib has done overacting and again he is also trying to look super cool which is not done effortlessly. Lastly Daisy Shah has done wonders.Just when you thought nothing could surpass ‘My business is my business, none of your business,’ Daisy Shah comes up with another gem: ‘Isko dil nahi Dell khol ke dikhao.Her acting is pathetic yet her actions are good.
Music-
Songs like previous installments are not good.Allah Duhaai hai has gone bad.Selfish lyrics written by one and only Salman is just crap and plain wastage of Atif Aslam’s Talent.Heeriye is a very nice song and the music and lyrics are good.Party song is just wastage of time and adds 3-4 minutes to the movie.
Direction-
Unlike Abbas Mastan who are known for these type of thriller movies with very good execution, Remo D Souza is just crap.He is trying to become Rohit Shetty wherein he is just exploding cars from Ferrari to Audi and no focus on logic and explanation and physics.Remo was thought to be a director who focuses on emotions like his Dance movies has shown everything which an audience likes in a Salman Khan but in an utter nonsense way wherein diehard fan of Salman Khan will also think of not going to watch this movie.
Review-
Watch Race 3 if you are a die hard fan of Salman Khan and on your own judgement but better to not waste time and watch a good old movie. My rating is 1.5 star out of 5.
