Man Prepares Fake Letterheads :
A 29-year-old Lucknow inhabitant was captured today for purportedly getting ready fake letterheads of government officials and bureaucrats and sending them as ‘proposal’ letters to book tickets for imminent passengers under VIP quota, police said.
The blamed, distinguished as Devpratap Singh, professedly used to pitch these phony letters to hold up recorded passengers charging them Rs 1200 to Rs 2400 for every such report, a Mumbai GRP official said.
At first sight, Singh professedly arranged phony letterheads of senior bureaucrats, MPs and MLAs from different states for conferring the extortion, he said.
“Amid his examination up until now, it became exposed that he has arranged phony letterheads of senior bureaucrats, MPs, and MLAs of different states, including ACS (Home), Maharashtra, Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh, and Lokayukta, Bihar,” the authority said.

Clarifying usual way of doing things of Singh, the authority said that the charged used to seek profiles and online posts of ‘VIP’ people for getting ready phony letterheads.
Singh had arranged a standard organization of the suggestion letters looking for reservations under VIP quota and used to fax them to Central Railway base camp in Mumbai, the authority said.
“Singh used to charge around Rs 1200 to Rs 2400 for each letter. He has been doing this since the most recent two years,” DCP (GRP) Samadhan Pawar told PTI.
He was remanded in police authority by a nearby court.
An authority said Singh came up short on fortunes when the railroad authorities found that a proposal letter looking for reservation under VIP quota on Mumbai-Varanasi Holiday Special prepare was not all together.
The authorities found that the ticket for which the reservation was looked for was observed to be reserved online from Ghazipur, following which Singh was followed.
